Data Controller: Status202 Operations (privacy@status202.com)

1. Absolute Data Privacy

Status202 is designed with a strict "privacy-first" architecture. The file contents, logs, and payloads processed by our tools never leave your browser and are never transmitted to our servers. All data transformation, parsing, and formatting happens entirely within your local device's memory (RAM) using JavaScript and WebAssembly.

This applies specifically to the content, files, and payloads you process using our tools. It does not apply to basic technical/hosting data described in Section 2 below.

2. Hosting & Technical Logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security, performance, and abuse-prevention purposes. This is standard for any website and is separate from the tool-processing data described in Section 1.

3. Cookie-Free Analytics

We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics tool. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected, stored, or cross-site tracked. Because Umami does not use cookies, there is no need for a cookie consent banner. We only track anonymised, aggregated metrics such as page views and generic tool usage to improve the product. Umami Analytics is self-hosted and retains basic analytics data for 12 months.

4. Google AdSense & Cookies

Because we display Google AdSense advertisements, this site uses cookies for ad personalization and measurement as governed by Google's EU User Consent Policy. Where required by law, we rely on your consent for ad personalization cookies, and legitimate interest for basic anonymized analytics.

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent banner allowing you to accept or reject personalized advertising cookies before ads are loaded. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

GDPR/CCPA Rights

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or California, you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Since we collect minimal data (primarily anonymized analytics and ad-related cookies), most requests can be handled by clearing cookies or opting out via the links in Section 4. For further requests, contact us at privacy@status202.com. We do not sell personal information. Ad-tech cookies used for personalized advertising may constitute "sharing" under CCPA/CPRA; you may opt out via the links above.

Children's Privacy

Status202 is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect email addresses, we cannot notify users directly of changes. Please review this page periodically. Please check the "Last Updated" date above to see when this policy was last revised.
